JOB TITLE: Accountant
DEPARTMENT: Administration
REPORTS TO: Head of Finance
Summary of the Position
To ensure proper and sound day-to-day booking-keeping, preparation of financial reports, provide analysis of financial information for Management’s use, ensure statutory compliance, and facilitate timely operational support to various business units.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Payroll management, customer invoicing, implementation of financial controls and procedures
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
  • Be the point person to auditors, regulatory and statutory authorities, represent the company and provide support during litigation involving financial issues.
  • Timely delivery of all reports to the Management as defined and agreed upon from time to time.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Management or related Course. (A Masters Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting will be an added advantage).
  • Professional Accounting qualification such as CPA (K) or ACCA.
  • Experience in using Accounting Softwares
  • Three years of experience in a key role in Finance and Accounts section for a Medium-Sized Company.


Summary of the Position
Provide leadership of company activities in products rollout, marketing and establishing new ventures. A team player in creation of new ICT market solutions and service propositions, with a view to increasing company’s bottom line and market share.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Identify sales leads, pitch products and services to clients (both new and existing) and maintain good business relations with clients and business partners
  2. Create new business models for emerging businesses and technologies
  3. New products development planning and rollout management
  4. Appropriate communication and liaison with all departments in actualization of business opportunities.
  5. Monitor existing client needs and opportunities to appropriately cross-sell products.
  6. Observe and understand Industry behavior/trends. Monitor competitor offers and products.
  7. Maintain & develop relationships with potential leads and clients.
  8. Reply to demands or questions from clients in timely manner to ensure healthy impact on both sides.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  1. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and effective public relations skills.
  2. Must possess sound creative, quantitative, and analytical skills.
  3. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
  4. Ability to engage teams to produce quality solutions within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
  5. Familiarity with contract negotiation and business modeling.
  6. Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering from a reputable university. A Masters Degree in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
  7. At least two years in a busy technology and business development or marketing position.

3. SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - (Two Positions)
Reports to: IT Manager

Summary of the Position

Analysis of user requirements, procedures and problems to develop software systems and solutions. Development of functional specifications, coding strategy, logic, configuration structure, direct software system testing and validation procedures and oversee all configuration and documentation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish standards, templates, and guidelines as applied to software systems design using information gathered in the system definition stage.
  • Define data structure layout and data flow model in order to provide specifications for software development.
  • Select the physical communication media, network architecture and protocols in order to complete system design and support system development.
  • Develop Human Machine Interface and/or Graphical User Interface in accordance with the design documents in order to meet the functional requirements.
  • Develop database in accordance with the design documents in order to meet the functional requirements.
  • Develop, test and commission software systems that meet functional requirements of users and customers.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a reputable university.
  • Knowledge of PHP, Java, python, C+ languages, in that order, is a key requirement
  • Three years of experience in software solution development, tests and commissioning.


Job Summary:

This job will involve diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintenance and servicing, and carry out necessary repairs on the vehicles, with a bias to Mercedes Actros, Axor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out vehicle maintenance according to the details provided on the logbook
  • Should have good workshop tool management
  • Should be able to provide sound analytical advise during troubleshooting processes performed on the vehicles
  • Must have hands-on skilled experience in handling any of the Heavy Commercial Vehicles stated above
  • The incumbent must have strong knowledge on semi and fully automatic engine transmissions
  • Must be well organized in the work done and able to prioritize work

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

  • Must hold an Industrial Training Certificate of the highest level from a recognised institution
  • Must have at least 5 years hands-on working experience on handling Heavy Commercial Vehicles from a reputable or busy organization/garage
  • Must hold a valid driving licence with relevant stamps
  • The incumbent should have strong interpersonal and communication skills with strong initiative and is able to handle complex assignments with a proactive attitude
  • Must be a quick thinker and have excellent analytical skills as well as organized, neat and attentive to detail
  • Must be reliable and flexible to work long hours or as required


Customer care
Tasks will include the following:

  • manage large volumes of inbound calls in a timely manner
  • follow communication ‘scripts’ when handling various enquiries
  • identify customers needs, clarify information, research every issue with a view to providing solutions and/alternatives
  • manage and resolve customer complaints
  • provide customers with product and service information
  • update existing customer information 
  • identify and escalate priority issues
  • route calls to appropriate resource where necessary
  • follow up customer calls where required
  • document all call information according to standard operating procedures
  • complete call logs
  • produce call reports


  • at least a diploma in journalism, IT or business related course, or equivalent
  • proficient in computer applications programs
  • proficient in spoken English and Kiswahili
  • strong and good phone, listening and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems will be an added advantage
  • good data entry and typing skills
